It's obvious that many folks have been struggling with bitTorrent clients for a while now.
Rest easy. There is a new client in town. Check out azureus. It is written in java and may require you to install java runtime, but it's much, MUCH better than any other bitTorrent client.
Happy torrenting.

My Slashdot Fortune for Today!
Why are you doing this to me? Because knowledge is torture, and there must be awareness before there is change. -- Jim Starlin, "Captain Marvel", #29

No Logo
For enlightening articles on the state of the world please proceed to www.nologo.org.
In this site Naomi Klein, international activist, raises voice against inhuman globalization. She has an almost radical view, which, I'm sure most will share after reading her articles.
The book on the site "Fences of enclosure, Windows of possibility" was eye opening.

Human Rights Day - Dec 10
Maldivians know it as "Masveringe Dhuvas". The world has celeberated it as "Human Rights Day". No wonder Maldivians never get to celeberate it.
On 10 December 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states "All human beings are born with equal and inalienable rights and fundamental freedoms".

Information Management
I've got a pre-exam test on IM (Information Management, not Instant Messenger) today.
I was wonderfully surprised to see an article on the same subject turn up on slashdot.
It's an interview with Sir Arthur C Clarke.
Here's a quotable quote from the article.
Humanity will survive information deluge ? Sir Arthur C Clarke

... it is vital to remember that information, in the sense of raw data, is not knowledge;
that knowledge is not wisdom;
and that wisdom is not foresight.Sir Arthur C Clarke
